Recently we received a Facebook comment about after school clubs. Historically Hindhayes have run a wealth of after school clubs some of which have been led by our teachers and some of which have been organised by external companies such as Pro-coaching who run the after school sporting clubs. In an effort to support teachers with managing their classroom responsibilities we have recently moved away from asking teachers to lead clubs and so this has left us with Pro-coaching providing the clubs across the week. It is very disappointing that they have not had enough interest to run their Fun Ball Skills on a Monday due to lack of interest and so this will now have to be cancelled. Moving forward if you are a parent or carer who thinks that they might like to volunteer to run an after school club from 3.00-4.00 and you are happy to go through the normal volunteer checks please chat with a member of the office staff and we will consider the idea as an option to provide some after clubs for our children.
